Driving An Ottawa Moving Truck

When my husband and I sold our house, we decided to get an Ottawa moving truck. In the past, we moved using friends’ vehicles and borrowing pick up trucks. We thought that since we were moving a little bit further, we would get a moving truck. It was well worth the little extra money we had to spend because it was much more efficient to load the truck once, drive it to the new house, and unload everything.
My husband went with a friend the morning of the move to get the Ottawa moving truck and it didn’t take them long to get back for us to start loading it with furniture and boxes. I was surprised to see that all the contents of my home fit into one truck, but it did. When everything was loaded, I really wanted to drive the truck, so after convincing my husband, I got behind the wheel.
I had never driven a big truck like that before, but I loved the feeling of being up high and being in control of such a large machine. When I arrived at the new house, I surprised even myself by successfully backing it into the driveway. There’s something about driving a large vehicle that makes you feel powerful.
