After my husband and I got married, we decided to get a cat. We adopted a cute little tabby mix kitty that we got from a local animal shelter. We decided to name him Cody. He was the sweetest cat. He loved to cuddle up with us and was such a social cat. Anytime anyone came over, he would run up to the door to greet them. You can imagine how upset we were to find out that our cat had an autoimmune disease called FIP about a year after we got him.
We had noticed that Cody was losing weight very quickly and just seemed to be in a lot of pain. We took him to the vet and they ran a lot of different tests, and discovered in his blood-work that he had this autoimmune disease. We were crushed. FIP is a disease that cannot be cured, and most cats that get it die within several months.
We asked our veterinarian what we could do to prolong Cody’s life. We wondered if there were any cat supplements that we could give to him. She recommended a few cat supplements that would provide additional vitamins and calories he was not getting through his food.
Unfortunately we lost Cody about 4 months after we found out that he had FIP. We still miss him and wish that he could have been apart of our family for longer.

My friend James lives in New York City and works in graphic design. It is quite the cliche job for a New Yorker, but he loves it and makes a ton of money doing it.
