I run a row of apartment buildings. I have to maintain them and keep them in good working order. This is a very time consuming job and it is becoming increasingly hard to manage all of the apartments. About twenty years ago, my husband and I began buying apartments. Most of the complexes were made up of four apartments together. My husband was the maintenance man and I decided to keep track of the finances. My husband and his best friend have been friends since they were twelve years old. From the time they were twelve until they went off to college they were practically inseparable. The only reason they didn’t go to the same college is because they wanted different things out of life. My husband wanted to play college football so he went to a school where it was offered to him and his friend wanted to become a Twin Falls ID CPA so he went to a school that had one of the best accounting programs in the nation.
My husband ended up hating college and dropped out to go to airplane mechanic school, but his friend never let go of his dream. He majored in accounting and got a job as an accountant for a company near his in-laws. After working there for a couple of years and getting some great experience, he decided it was time to complete his dream. He went back to school and is now preparing to take the Twin Falls ID CPA test. My husband and I both hope he’ll be able to pass the test so he can feel fulfillment in his career as a CPA.
