Travel brochures serve a very important purpose when it comes to vacationing and traveling. Some people like to do everything online with their smart phones or their computers. However, some of us are old-school, like myself, and like to have a few handy travel brochures around when we go on vacation. That way, you can still get your information even if your phone is dead or something like that.
About a year ago, my wife and I signed up for a roadside assistance and travel company that offers free travel brochures and vacation guides to its members. We were going to be driving out to the Bay Area, so I went into their local office and stocked up on some free maps and travel brochures. While we were driving out there, my wife was able to look through the brochures and guides and found us some really cool places to visit in San Francisco that we might have not thought of otherwise. In addition, we also used them to find a bunch of really great restaurants that we could eat at. Eating at unique and tasty local restaurants is one of our favorite parts of any vacation that we go on.

A few years ago I decided that I would go flying with my friend who is a pilot. He is owns a little Cessna twin engine plane and is a very experienced pilot. I have flown many times in large commercial jets, but I had never flown in a little plane like that. He grabbed his pilot gear and we hopped in the plane and off we went. It was a warm summer night when we went on this flight. It was dark outside and it was amazing as we took off the runway and were air born. We steadily climbed up into the sky until finally we reached a comfortable cruising altitude.
We flew around for a couple of hours and looked at all of the buildings and places below. It was an amazing experience to get a birds eye view of my own house and town. After an hour or so he asked me if I wanted to take control of the plane. I began flying this little plane and it was amazing. It made me want to buy all my own pilot gear including an airplane and learn how to fly. This experience is one of my most treasured memories.

I was in a pretty serious car accident last week. My car was hit nearly head-on, and as a result, it could not be driven. I had no hope of getting the car to my house or even to my mechanic without help. The police officer who responded to the scene of the accident told me that he could call the Fillmore towing company that his department used, but that he could not guarantee how good the price would be. I had enough to be concerned about without worrying over the cost of towing, so I decided to call my insurance agent for help.
My agent had the name of a Fillmore towing service she had used several times in the past for other clients. I trusted her judgment, and I knew that she would also call a company which accepted my insurance plan. I also felt confident that with her recommendation, I would not have to worry about whether the towing company was licensed and experienced to take proper care of my car. I was fortunate that the tow truck arrived very quickly because I was anxious to know my car was on its way to my mechanic. The ease with which the towing occurred was a blessing in light of the trauma I had experienced.

When I go on vacation, it is not an option to miss out on taking great photos. I love capturing our family vacations on camera, and this past vacation to Hawaii, I took tons of road to Hana photos while we were on our tour.
My husband and I wanted to take our three children to Hawaii because they were finally all old enough to appreciate it, and they were old enough to go scuba diving. We took an entire day to do the road to Hana tour because it’s quite a long stretch, and there is no way to see it in just a few hours.
I got great family road to Hana photos of us near waterfalls, looking out over the ocean, near tropical trees, and many more. The photos turned out really well, and now we have tons of photos to remind us of our vacation. I even purchased a photo of the road to Hana that was done professionally because I knew that I couldn’t capture the essence of the trip nearly as well as this other photographer. We have the picture hanging in our family room, and we look at that photo and remember what an amazing trip we had together.
