It\u2019s available for all partners \u2013 using our Google Business Profile Claiming service is not required. And there is no additional cost for using this feature.<\/p>\n<div class=\"cb-advice\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/local-presence-management-epaper\/?utm_source=Blog_Banner&#038;utm_medium=Blog_Content_Banner&#038;utm_campaign=Blog_Banner&#038;utm_content=what_is_lpm_download_find_out_why\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"700\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Presence-Management.png\" class=\"acb-banner-image\" alt=\"What is Local Presence Management\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Presence-Management.png 700w, https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/Presence-Management-300x107.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<p>Using the Google Business Profile Sync feature has some real benefits, too.<\/p>\n<h2>Benefits of Google Business Profile Sync<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Easily update your client\u2019s GBP listings from our dashboard. As long as you have the accurate data in the edit client section, we can update it to their Google Business Profile listing.<\/li>\n<li>You can see at a glance what information is on your client\u2019s GBP listing right from the partner dashboard.<\/li>\n<li>If you have GBP Sync turned on, with a few clicks you can protect certain fields you do not want Advice Local to sync to the GBP listing. For instance, if you are using a tracking phone number or tracking URL on the client\u2019s GBP listing, you may not want those synced.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Who Can Use Advice Local\u2019s GBP Sync Feature?<\/h2>\n<p>This feature is available in all our partner dashboards. So yes, partners who are still on our legacy dashboard, you can use GBP Sync too. However, the protected fields feature is not available in the legacy dashboard. Legacy partners, you\u2019re also missing out on many other features such as our <a href=\"https:\/\/beta.advicelocal.com\/blog\/products\/enhanced-google-business-profile-tools\/\">Google Business Profile tool<\/a> that lets you schedule images, GBP posts and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/blog\/google-my-business-tool-add-questions-answers\/\">Questions &amp; Answers<\/a> to your client\u2019s Google Business Profile listing. You can even respond directly to GBP reviews through our GBP tool.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Turn On Google Business Profile Sync<\/h3>\n<p>Click your email address on the top right. A dropdown will appear. Click GBP Config. From here you can give your Advice Local partner dashboard access to your GBP listings. You will be required to log into the account that you manage those listings with. Once you grant access, you\u2019ll want to set up the protected fields.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12344\" src=\"https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/images\/gmb-sync-partner-example.png\" alt=\"Google My Business Sync Partner Settings Example\" width=\"85%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll want to click the checkbox to turn ON the fields you want to protect. If you do not want to protect the fields, you simply would NOT check any of the boxes. Additionally, you are setting the default settings for ALL the clients listed in your dashboard, not a single Google Business Profile listing.<\/p>\n<p>Once you have set up GBP Config, you can select an active client\u2019s account. You\u2019ll want to click Enhanced GBP to view the Google Business Profile listing data. From there, select the Location Data tab. You\u2019ll now be able to view the data that we have in our database in comparison to the data in GBP.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-12343\" src=\"https:\/\/www.advicelocal.com\/images\/gmb-sync-listing-example.png\" alt=\"Google My Business Listing Sync Example\" width=\"85%\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As you can see above, if you have the protected fields turned on, you can import the data in GBP to our database in the Advice Local database at an individual level.
