All these developments added up to a lot of growth, excitement and recognition for <a title=\"Advice Interactive Group\" href=\"\/\"><strong>Advice Interactive Group<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-3842\" style=\"margin: 7px;\" title=\"Holiday-Proof Your Web Presence eBook\" src=\"\/images\/Holiday-Proof-PDF-COVER1.jpg\" alt=\"Holiday-Proof Your Web Presence\" width=\"131\" height=\"170\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our fearless leader Bernadette Coleman has kept a firm hand on the wheel with her eyes steadfastly fixed on a bright future for the company. We recently welcomed Jonathan Kaufman as president, made the <a title=\"Inc. 500 Advice Interactive Group\" href=\"https:\/\/www.inc.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">INC. 500<\/a> list of top ranked U.S. companies (#155 overall, #21 in Advertising and Marketing) and we were recognized with an Outstanding\u00a0Achievement\u00a0 award in marketing from the Interactive Media Council. All this while simultaneously working on approximately 100 client websites and producing our first eBook &#8220;How to Holiday-Proof Your Web Presence.&#8221;\u00a0That means we did sales, customer service, strategy, planning, web development, design, programming, content, search engine optimization, social media, branding, reputation management, pay-per-click advertising, and so on.<\/p>\n<p>Our top priority is keeping clients happy with outstanding results, of course, but in order to do that everyone here must work to educate themselves about an ever-changing, dramatically expanding industry. In my opinion, our website&#8217;s blog provides a great snapshot of what may be our crowning achievement last year\u00a0\u2013 and what I hope has come to be the signature of our corporate brand \u2013 <strong>good, solid, dependable, smart ADVICE<\/strong>. Our team wrote some amazing blog posts and the Internet is a smarter place because of it!<\/p>\n<h3>Here are my picks for the Advice Interactive Top 10 of 2012.<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>For business owners unsure about how to approach the process of <strong><a title=\"Need to Know Guide to Having a Website Built\" href=\"\/blog\/a-need-to-know-guide-to-having-a-website-built\/\">having a website built<\/a><\/strong>, Ryan Nielsen wrote a great primer to get you started with confidence.<\/li>\n<li>As you work to design a great performing website, it helps to know something about &#8220;usability.&#8221; That&#8217;s why I liked this recent post by Kaitlin Hawkins about\u00a0<strong><a title=\"Improve User Experience for Better SEO Results\" href=\"\/blog\/improve-user-experience-for-better-seo-results\/\">how user experience affects SEO<\/a><\/strong> success.<\/li>\n<li><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-4333\" style=\"margin: 7px;\" title=\"Parenting Your Links\" src=\"\/images\/Scolding-Mother.png\" alt=\"scolding mother cartoon link building\" width=\"210\" height=\"172\" \/>On the critical issue of search engine optimization, digital marketing pros know how tricky link building can be. To help others follow the best practices Advice is pioneering, Rachel Kopp wrote an entertaining blog about <strong>&#8220;<a title=\"Be a Good Parent to Your Links\" href=\"\/blog\/be-a-good-parent-to-your-links\/\">parenting&#8221; your website links<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For those not familiar with graphic design, Allison Parkyn offered a nice overview of <strong><a title=\"Find Your Font and Gain a Captive Audience\" href=\"\/blog\/find-your-font-and-gain-a-captive-audience\/\">how to select your font style<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Going to the next level of design advice for business owners, Jeffrey Powell presented a fascinating look at <strong><a title=\"Logo Design Branding\" href=\"\/blog\/logo-design-branding-its-hip-to-be-square\/\">branding and logo selection<\/a><\/strong>, along with a guide to <strong><a title=\"Raster Art vs. Vector Art\" href=\"\/blog\/why-businesses-should-own-their-logo-artwork-raster-art-vs-vector-art\/\">artwork formatting<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Content is my bread and butter, so it was tough to select just one from that category. I really liked the creativity in Raven Vela&#8217;s post about fantasy\/web <strong><a title=\"Dr. Seuss Should Have Been a Content Writer\" href=\"\/blog\/why-dr-seuss-should-have-been-a-web-content-writer\/\">content writer Dr. Seuss<\/a><\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Our social media team are the experts when it comes to <strong>blogging<\/strong> for clients, but content writer Katie Ritter Walsh shared some great DIY tips for business owners in her two-part series <a title=\"Blog for Your Business Pt. 1\" href=\"\/blog\/how-to-blog-for-your-business-part-1\/\">here<\/a> and <a title=\"Part 2\" href=\"\/blog\/how-to-blog-for-your-business-part-2\/\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>For those who may think all the creativity happens on the marketing and content side, you haven&#8217;t met our dream team of web developers. They are fast becoming a vital source of practical information for others in the field.
