While SEO is important, I wonder, have you thought about the last time you viewed a site on your mobile device? Did it fit within the screen you were using? Did you have to keep adjusting the size so that you were able to read it? I am betting if you had to do that, you didn&#8217;t stay at the site very long at all. Make no mistake about it, mobile devices are here to stay, and their usage is growing in popularity. More customers will be able to find you. Your customers are not carrying computers in their back pocket. Most likely they do carry their cell phone, tablet or iPad, so why not let them find you? The only thing you have to lose by not developing for mobile is growth of your own business. You would not want to be told, &#8220;Your competitor did develop their mobile site, and your customer went there.&#8221; 51% MORE of users willing to do business with a retailer because they have a mobile optimized site, seems pretty compelling evidence to have your site optimized for mobile.
